In one paragraph
ChooseWell (formerly Shopper Assist) is a shopping app for iPhone and Android. Scan a product and it shows the maker's political spending from FEC and state filings, open recalls and flagged ingredients, nutrition against the user's own targets, and ratings from other shoppers. An optional Candidates tab shows who funds the candidates on the user's ballot. Everything comes from public records, with the source on every screen, and the app takes no position. It is made by Shopper Assist, LLC, a one-person company in Brooklyn, New York, and launched in September 2026.
